So I’ve been MIA from Tumblr for some time. There is more than one reason, but the one main reason would be MY JOB. Working in journalism again has proven to be so challenging, draining and time consuming, it’s like I can barely fit anything else in my head. I think I will start dreaming of the wire services, headlines, and catch lines soon. I have to restrain myself from posting news articles all over social networking sites.

A good thing is I waste less time reading/looking at things that aren’t important or entertaining or otherwise affecting my life in a positive way. Also, facebook is blocked at work, so… that kind of takes care of things. (but also redirects everyone to twitter…to follow breaking news, of course!)

So here’s to a happy 2012 to all of you, and an amazing basketball (BULLS!) season ahead. Also, go Hoosiers. What a great year for the Big Ten, especially my alma mater, Indiana.
